Our promise in plain English
What we store in the cloud
Your account info, saved workflows and Vault items, social drafts, brand and integration settings, and billing records. These let you pick up where you left off across devices.
What stays only in your browser
In-progress microloop answers, unsaved drafts, and UI state. These never leave your device and are cleared when you sign out or wipe browser data.
What we send to AI providers — and why
When you generate or refine content, your prompt and inputs are sent to the AI provider for that one request, then the response comes back. Nothing is sent in the background. Today we route AI work through the Lovable AI Gateway (currently OpenAI GPT models). Billing runs on Stripe; transactional email runs on Resend. If you connect HubSpot or GoHighLevel, content goes there only when you click publish.
“Not used to train” in plain language
baitesized does not use your content to train its own AI. We only use providers whose API terms forbid training on customer prompts by default. We will update this page whenever the providers we use change.
What you can delete or export
From Account → Privacy & data you can: download a full JSON export, download a human-readable Markdown bundle, delete all saved Vault outputs, clear browser drafts, or run a full reset that clears progress and personalization too.
Safeguards
baitesized is designed with safeguards intended to promote truthful, responsible, and respectful use, and to reduce manipulation, deception, exploitation, and harmful misuse. We use refusal, redirect, and human review in sensitive cases. These safeguards are designed to reduce harmful misuse, but they are not perfect and do not replace your own judgment. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and account preferences when you register or update your profile. We also collect usage data like the modules you complete, workflows you save, and progress you make within the platform.

AI & your data
baitesized uses AI-powered features to help you refine drafts, generate examples, and analyze your workflows. We do not use your content to train our own AI models. Your content is processed solely to power the features you actively use and is not retained by us for any unrelated purpose.
AI processing is handled through secure API providers under their standard API terms, which typically prohibit using API-submitted data to train base models. We do not sell or share your content with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention rules still apply: if you are on a free plan, workflows and vault items are subject to the platform's standard retention and purge schedule.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment processing), and only under strict confidentiality obligations.
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Your choices
You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords.
