This page is maintained by EdgeTech, dba baitesized, and sets out the terms governing use of the Service.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of baitesized, a service operated by EdgeTech, doing business as baitesized (“EdgeTech,” “baitesized,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, applications, features, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1.Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
To use the Service, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- you meet the minimum age and legal requirements necessary to form a binding agreement where you live;
- you have the legal authority to agree to these Terms;
- the information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
You are also responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
2.Description of the Service
baitesized is a guided AI business-improvement platform intended to help users with practical business activities such as drafting, workflow development, decision support, communication improvement, prioritization, and related business-use features.
The Service may include AI-assisted generation, refinement, recommendation, analysis, saved outputs, Vault items, and related organizational or productivity tools.
The Service is intended to support lawful, constructive, and responsible use. It is not an unrestricted system for any purpose whatsoever, and some requests or outputs may be refused, limited, redirected, or subject to review.
3.Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful, authorized, and responsible purposes.
Permitted use includes using baitesized for constructive activities such as:
- business planning and prioritization;
- workflow development and refinement;
- drafting and editing communications;
- clarifying service or marketing language;
- operational improvement;
- decision support;
- productivity and organizational support;
- other honest and responsible business-improvement uses consistent with these Terms.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and professional responsibilities.
4.Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to create, support, plan, facilitate, or assist with unlawful, deceptive, exploitative, abusive, harmful, or malicious activity.
Without limitation, you may not use baitesized to:
- deceive, mislead, or materially misrepresent facts;
- impersonate any person or entity;
- create or support fake testimonials, fake reviews, fake case studies, fabricated proof, or false authority signals;
- generate manipulation, coercion, exploitative persuasion, or deceptive pressure tactics;
- create or assist with disinformation, misleading synthetic media, or deepfakes intended to deceive or mislead;
- harass, intimidate, humiliate, retaliate against, threaten, or abuse others;
- discriminate unlawfully or exploit people based on vulnerability or protected characteristics;
- plan, encourage, or facilitate self-harm or harm toward others;
- conceal wrongdoing or evade legal, contractual, or ethical responsibility;
- use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Your use of the Service is also subject to any Acceptable Use policy we publish or update from time to time. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, we may interpret and apply both in a manner that best protects the Service, its users, and the public.
5.Safeguards, Refusal, Redirect, and Human Review
baitesized is designed with safeguards intended to promote truthful, responsible, and respectful use, and to reduce manipulation, deception, exploitation, and harmful misuse.
Accordingly, we may:
- refuse certain requests;
- redirect certain requests toward safer or more appropriate alternatives;
- limit or shape outputs in sensitive contexts;
- flag or queue certain requests for human review.
These safeguards are designed to reduce harmful misuse, but they are not perfect and do not replace your own judgment.
You agree not to attempt to bypass, defeat, probe, misuse, or interfere with these safeguards.
6.Your Responsibility for Outputs and Decisions
You are solely responsible for how you use any output, suggestion, recommendation, draft, summary, or other material produced through the Service.
You agree that:
- you will review outputs before relying on, publishing, sending, sharing, or implementing them;
- you will not treat outputs as automatically correct, complete, or suitable for your situation;
- you remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, communications, and business conduct;
- you remain responsible for compliance with all applicable legal, professional, contractual, and regulatory obligations.
AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, or unsuitable in some situations. You should use your own judgment and, where appropriate, consult a qualified human professional.
7.No Professional Advice
The Service is provided for general informational, workflow, drafting, and business-support purposes only.
baitesized does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, mental health, investment, employment, or other licensed professional advice. Nothing in the Service should be understood as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
You should seek appropriate professional advice before acting on matters involving legal, financial, medical, safety, employment, mental health, regulatory, or other specialized risks.
8.User Content and Service Operation
You may provide text, prompts, files, drafts, business information, preferences, and other materials through the Service (“User Content”).
As between you and EdgeTech, you retain your rights in the User Content you submit, subject to the rights you grant to us to operate the Service.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to host, store, process, transmit, and use that User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide and operate the Service and requested features;
- maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
- enforce these Terms and related policies;
- comply with law.
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, process, and retain personal information and service-related data.
9.Intellectual Property and Platform Rights
The Service, including its software, design, branding, trademarks, user interface, platform content, and related materials, is owned by EdgeTech or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or resell the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where prohibited by law;
- remove or alter proprietary notices;
- use our branding, content, or platform materials in a misleading way;
- use the Service to build a competing service using our protected materials.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10.Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription.
Paid subscriptions are billed automatically on a monthly basis beginning on the date your selected service-level subscription starts, and continuing on each monthly renewal date unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, your paid subscription benefits will remain available through the end of the current billing cycle, after which your access will be limited to the Free version of the Service, if available.
Except where required by law, no refunds will be granted for subscription fees already paid.
We may change pricing, subscription levels, features, or plan structures in the future. Any such changes will apply prospectively and not retroactively, unless otherwise stated.
11.Suspension, Restriction, Termination, and Appeals
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:
- you violated these Terms or any related policy;
- you used the Service in a prohibited, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful way;
- your use creates risk to other users, the public, or the Service;
- suspension, restriction, or termination is necessary to investigate misuse, protect the Service, or comply with law.
We may also remove, limit, or disable content, outputs, features, or access where appropriate.
If your account is suspended, we may consider an appeal on a case-by-case basis if you request one.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion, where available, may remain subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
12.Availability, Accuracy, and Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, always available, or perfectly accurate.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not guarantee:
- that outputs will be correct, complete, or suitable for your needs;
- that safeguards will detect or prevent every harmful or prohibited use;
- that the Service will always meet your expectations or business goals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeTech, dba baitesized, and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, licensors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14.Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we may update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15.Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Arizona, United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
